Key responsibilities:

Responsible for the testing of various Quantenna chipset based platforms for the local Software team.

Responsible for setup and maintenance of various testbeds, including configuration of both internally generated tools and commercial third party tools such as IxChariot and IxVeriwave.

Responsible for the physical setup and maintenance of both cabled up and open air testbeds, both in an office environment, RF shielded cabinets, and RF shielded boxes.

Responsible for development and configuration of different test topologies, including Quantenna based Access Points, and Ｏne or more third party WiFi clients, and running of Engineering test plans against such test topologies.

Responsible for development of Engineering test plans, to validate the key features being developed within the Software team.

Responsible for analysis and presentation of test results, including examination of various test data, analysis of wireless and wired sniffer traces and first line debugging of the test cases.



Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master in EE, CS, CE, or related disciplines with 3 years of experience in a testing role.

Experience in testing of different WiFi devices across multiple vendors (BCM, QCA, Realtek based devices for example)

Experience in configuration and setup of RF cabled systems.

Experience in use of wireless sniffer tools, and analysis of the results.

Knowledge of the 802.11 protocols, including understanding of the various major versions of the protocols (ie, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11a, 802.11n, 802.11ac) and the major functionalities introduced in each new version of the protocol.

Experienced in using high level scripting languages to rapidly develop automated test setups, and write tools to aid in analysis of test failures.

Eager to learn, inquisitive nature, strive to get to the root of problems and expose issues to improve our product quality.

Good communication and problem solving skills and ability to work under high pressure in a global team, across multiple timezones.



Work place is Sydney, have qualification to work at Sydney, AUS either with citizenship or legal residency of AUS.
